Safety Dawan Landry Signs with Jets

Mike Ehrmann/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Safety Dawan Landry signed with New York Jets Tuesday.

Details of the contract were not released.

The 6-foot-1, 212 pound Landry played the last two seasons for Jacksonville. He had signed a five-year, $27.5 million contract with the team in 2011, but was cut this offseason.

Landry, 30, played his first five NFL seasons in Baltimore. Current Jets' head coach Rex Ryan was the defensive coordinator for three of them.

Landry, whose brother LaRon played for the Jets last season, has not missed a game in the last four seasons.

Landry has recorded 559 tackles, 12 interceptions, 5.5 sacks and three touchdowns in seven NFL seasons.
