During his one season in Westwood, the 6-foot-6 Muhammad averaged 17.9 points, 5.2 rebounds per game and was named first team All-Pac-12.

“I am so thankful for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play at UCLA and will always be proud to be a Bruin,” Muhammad said in a statement. “From a young age, I have dreamed of playing in the NBA, and I believe that this is the right time for me to move to the next level.”

Muhammad dealt with injuries and illness throughout the season. It also came out in March that he was 20 years old, not 19.

ESPN NBA Draft analyst Chad Ford predicts Muhammad will be a mid-to-late lottery pick.
