The FAA has not approved Boeing’s fix to prevent batteries from overheating and catching fire onboard its 787s, but United, which has had six brand-new Dreamliners grounded since January, has scheduled the plane to fly on May 31 from Houston to Denver.

The airline says it will make schedule changes if the plane is not cleared to fly by then.  It’s planning to resume international flying on June 10 from Denver to Tokyo.
