Study: Two Percent of Kids Have Autism
Published at(AMMON, ID) – A new report released by national health officials say one in 50 children are now affected by autism. Monica Buerger, who owns the Eagle Canyon Wellness Center in Ammon says that there’s been a 13 percent annual increase in diagnosis. She says that if that rate continues, nearly one in nine three-year-olds will be diagnosed with autism by 2022. She says many of the factors are environmental stressors, which can be treated with behavioral therapy and major diet changes.
