Three Killed in Holbrook Shooting

(MALAD, ID) – Three people are dead following what authorities are calling the deadliest crime in Oneida County history. Deputies say the bodies of 61-year-old Brent Christensen, his son, 32-year-old Trent Christensen, and Trent’s girlfriend, 27-year-old Yavette Carter, were found shot to death in a home off of Highway 38 in Holbrook Friday. Two children under the age of two were found alive and uninjured inside the home. Officials say there is a large pit bull breeding ranch at the scene, and a $95,000 marijuana growing operation in the basement.
