Three People Sentenced for Meth

(POCATELLO, ID) – Three people were sentenced in federal court Monday on felony drug trafficking charges. 60-year-old Juan Aguilar, formerly of San Jose, Calif., was given ten years for possessing more than 50 grams of meth during a traffic stop in Jefferson County in November 2011. 62-year-old Jose Rios-Jimenez of Menan was given credit for time served and will be deported back to Mexico. 41-year-old Juan Mendoza, also of Menan, was given 102 months in prison with an additional five years of supervised release. Three other suspects have pleaded guilty to charges related to the investigation and are awaiting sentencing.
