The Bruins now have a 3-0 series lead.

In a game where the Bruins outshot the Rangers 34 to 24, the Rangers actually had a 1-0 lead heading into the third period.

Then 3:10 into the third period, Bruins defenseman Johnny Boychuk scored his fourth goal of the playoffs to tie the game 1-1.

The score stayed that way until there was 3:31 left in the game. A puck deflected off Lundqvist’s mask falling straight down onto the goal line. Lundqvist couldn’t find the puck but Bruins forward Daniel Paille did as he knocked it into the net scoring the eventual game winner.

“I think it’s all about traffic,” Bruins center Patrice Bergeron said on how the B’s scored on Lundqvist Tuesday night. “I think in the first two games we did a good job of that. If you don’t see it, it’s going to be tough to, obviously, stop it. We know he’s a great goalie and when he sees the shot, he’s going to make the stop. It’s about having some better screens and I think we did that in the third and made it a little harder on them.”

The Bruins will look to close out the series at Madison Square Garden Thursday night. The puck is set to drop at 7 p.m. Eastern.
