(SALT LAKE CITY, UT) – The family of a Utah woman who went missing in 2009 have launched their own search.  Just a week after federal officials closed Susan Cox Powell’s case, Chuck Cox announced Tuesday that he’d begin searching along a 400-mile stretch of I-84 between Tremonton, Utah and Pendleton, Oregon. Powell disappeared without a trace nearly four years ago, and her husband, who was considered a person of interest in the case, killed himself and their two sons in February of last year. Cox will be handing out fliers and talking with anyone he believes might find new leads.
