Funeral for Frances Monson Set

(SALT LAKE CITY, UT) – A spokesperson for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced funeral arrangements for the wife of church president Thomas S. Monson. The public is invited to honor the life of 85-year-old Frances J. Monson on Thursday at noon in the Salt Lake Tabernacle. Monson died surrounded by her family last Friday. Monson has kept a low profile since her husband was appointed president in 2008, though she did make occasional public appearances.
