Comstock/Thinkstock(NEW YORK) — Several states in the Midwest have seen unprecedented weather this week, but the wild temperatures headed into the weekend are expected to return to normal for most of the nation.

Arkansas residents saw snow in May for the first time in recorded history, while other areas got up to five inches of snow.

ABC News Meteorologist Ginger Zee says by Monday places like Minnesota, where more than a foot of snow was dumped, could see temperatures in the 60s.
