ISU Appoints New Provost

(POCATELLO, ID) – Idaho State University has appointed a new provost and vice president of academic affairs. History professor Laura Woodworth-Ney will replace Barbara Adamcik, who has served as interim provost for nearly three years. Woodworth-Ney currently serves as the associate vice president for academic affairs, managing the school’s curriculum management and online class development. The Rupert native has been a member of ISU’s faculty since 1999, and formerly chaired the history and women’s studies programs.
