NASCAR will be at Dover International Speedway this weekend for the Fedex 400 and Johnson is hoping for a repeat performance of last year when he won.

“I feel good about things but we’ve got a huge points lead,” Johnson said on Tuesday.  “We’ve had the wins and there’s been tracks we’ve been real hot at.”

“With the mile-and-a halves occupying so much of the year, especially with the Chase, we’ve got a little room for improvement there,” he continued.

Johnson holds either a tie or leads in wins at seven tracks in the Sprint Cup series. “That’s mindboggling to me,” said Johnson, who is tied with Richard Petty and Bobby Allison for the track record at Dover.  “Just extremely proud of that.”

Matt Kenseth leads the series with three victories this season in 13 races.  Johnson has two.
