(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – Bonneville County prosecutors will seek the death penalty against a Blackfoot man accused of shooting and killing a woman earlier this year.   Adan Arroyo allegedly shot 21-year-old Kristy Aschilman in the head during an argument in January. Arroyo has pleaded not guilty to a charge of first-degree murder, and will appear in court in July. Prosecutor Bruce Pickett says he filed the paperwork necessary for a capital punishment case last Friday. Arroyo, who faces additional felony charges for misbehavior behind bars, remains in custody without bond.
