(LOS ANGELES) — Goaltender Jonathan Quick stopped all 30 shots he faced as the defending Stanley Cup champion Los Angeles Kings blanked the St. Louis Blues, 1-0 in Game 3 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals. With the victory, the Kings cut the Blues’ series lead, 2-1.
The game was scoreless until 4:56 into the second period when Kings defenseman Slava Voynov put the puck past Blues goaltender Brian Elliott for the goal. Alec Martinez and Trevor Lewis were credited with the assist for Los Angeles.
Game four is set for Monday night at the Staples Center in L.A.
