Woman Arrested for Embezzlement

(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – An Idaho Falls woman was arrested on charges of embezzlement Tuesday. Police say 36-year-old Misti Bird allegedly embezzled more than $16,000 from Reginald Reeves’ law office, where she was formerly employed as a secretary. Bird was fired from her job in January, and Reeves says the thefts began some time in 2011. Bird remains in the Bonneville County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
