(LOS ANGELES) — After his successful — and controversial — Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for the film, actor and director Zach Braff can apparently afford a star for his upcoming movie Wish I Was Here.
Complete with a pic of him with his arm around the former Criminal Minds lead, Braff tweeted, “One of my favorite actors of all time…Mandy Patinkin will play my father.”
In just over three weeks, Braff’s Kickstarter effort has gained over 38,000 backers and raised over $2.6 million.
