Fazliddin-Kurbanov

(BOISE, ID) – An Uzbek-national being held in Boise on terrorism charges now has a high-profile lawyer defending his case.   A federal judge has appointed Charles Peterson to defend 30-year-old Fazliddin Kurbanov, who is accused of funneling money to Islamic terrorists in his home country and helping build bombs in the United States. Peterson successfully defended Randy Weaver following the Ruby Ridge incident in northern Idaho, and a Saudi Arabian student at the University of Idaho who managed a terrorist-affiliated website. Kurbanov’s former lawyer left the case citing a lack of funds.
