(HAILEY, ID) – Jani Bergdahl is very hopeful that her son will be released by the Taliban soon. The mother of Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl addressed nearly 2,000 people during a rally in Hailey Saturday. Bergdahl, who was captured in Afghanistan four years ago this month, could be released if intelligence officials negotiate an exchange using five high-profile Guantanamo Bay detainees.
