Fred scored the first of his two goals two minutes into the game as Brazil defeated Spain 3-0 in the Confederations Cup Final Sunday night.

The victory means the Brazilians have won the last three Confederations Cups.

Neymar scored his fourth goal of the tournament in the 44th minute, and was awarded the Golden Ball, which is given to the tournament’s top player.

“Brazil has shown to the world that this is the Brazilian national team and that we must be respected,” said Neymar. “I think that today we had a great victory against the best team of the world, with some of the best players in the world.”

The loss broke Spain’s 29-game winning streak in competitive matches.
