Dallas Cowboys Sign TE Dante Rosario
Published at(IRVING, Texas) — The Dallas Cowboys signed free agent tight end Dante Rosario on Monday, and released rookie and fellow tight end Paul Freedman.
The 28-year-old Rosario spent last season with the San Diego Chargers. In 13 games with the Bolts, he had 10 receptions for 95 yards and three touchdowns.
Rosario was originally selected out of Oregon by the Panthers in the fifth round of the 2007 NFL draft. He spent four seasons in Carolina where he had 82 receptions for 894 yards and five touchdowns in 62 games.
In 2011, Rosario spent time with the Denver Broncos and the Miami Dolphins.
