(BLACKFOOT, ID) – Bingham County Sheriff’s deputies are are taking a closer look at prisoner restraints after an inmate jumped out of a patrol car last week. Officials say the juvenile girl was able to open an unlocked rear passenger window, which they say is normally locked. They plan to unwire all of the rear windows in their fleet, which would keep the windows shut at all times. The inmate was being transferred to the 3B detention facility at the time of the incident and is expected to make a full recovery.
