Peter Travers, the Rolling Stone movie critic and host of ABC’s Popcorn, recently sat down with the 30-year-old actress to discuss the current season of Mad Men. During the interview, he asked her about the benefits Scientology affords her.

Moss told Travers that her faith gives her stability and makes her feel like a better version of herself.

“I think that’s a good way of saying it, because there is so much focus on the, I guess, empowerment and, sort of, respecting yourself, and yourself as an individual,” she said.

The Mad Men star added that she is a big believer in drawing advice from many different sources, not just Scientology.

“My friends may give me great advice or I’ll talk with my mother,” she said.
