(BLACKFOOT, ID) – A juvenile inmate from the Bingham County Jail jumped out of a patrol car along I-15 north of Blackfoot Thursday.  Officials say the girl was cuffed with a belly chain and hobbles when she managed to take off her seat belt and open a rear passenger side window. The deputy, who was transferring the girl to the 3B detention facility in Idaho Falls, saw what was going on and slowed down as the girl fell out the window and onto the pavement. She was taken by ambulance to Bingham Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
