Idaho Falls Woman Stole From Grandmother

(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – An Idaho Falls woman is in custody for allegedly stealing money from her own grandmother.  Police say 30-year-old Lyndsey Whitney faces felony charges of abuse, neglect, and exploitation of a vulnerable adult. Investigators have been watching Whitney since April. The 87-year-old victim was reportedly not given enough food or medication. Whitney is accused of helping herself to her grandmother’s finances over a period of 18 months. Authorities did not disclose how much money was stolen.
