(BOISE, ID) – The executive director of Idaho’s Republican Party is stepping down for a state job. Josh Whitworth, a former Idaho State University football player and rancher, will begin working with State Controller Brandon Woolf next month. Whitworth had served in the post for less than a year. He’ll be replaced by Trevor Thorpe, a Virginia native and Brigham Young University graduate who moved to the Gem State in 2010.
