Illegal Alien Busted for Unlawful Gun Possession

(POCATELLO, ID) – A Mexican national living in the U.S. illegally has been indicted for unlawful possession of a firearm. Thirty-year-old Rigoberto Torres-Perez of Dubois was arrested last November for having a Hi-Point 9 millimeter handgun, which had the serial number taken off. If convicted, Torres-Perez could spend up to ten years in prison. Investigators say the man has previous convictions for being an illegal alien and drug possession.
