Insurance Brokers Plead Guilty to Fraud

(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – A father and son have pleaded guilty to being involved in fraudulent activities at The Legacy Network insurance brokerage agency. Rand Robison of Rigby has admitted to mail fraud, while his son, Russell Robison of Idaho Falls, has admitted to making a false tax return. The agency, which has offices in Rexburg and Idaho Falls, was raided by federal investigators in October of 2010. Rand Robison faces up to 20 years behind bars, while Russell is only facing a three year prison sentence. Attorneys for both men say their clients deeply regret their mistakes.
