Investigation Into I.F. Plane Crash Begins

(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – Federal aviation officials are investigating what caused a plane crash that left two people dead in Idaho Falls Saturday. Authorities have laid out the wreckage inside a hangar to try and piece together what happened. Witnesses reported hearing the plane sputter shortly after taking off from the Idaho Falls Regional Airport. They plan to review any mechanical problems and look into the pilot’s background to determine probable cause. Officials anticipate that the investigation will take six to eight months.
