(FLORHAM PARK, N.J.) — Veteran tight end Kellen Winslow will be at Jets minicamp on Tuesday, the team confirmed on Saturday.
Winslow did not see much playing time with the Patriots last season and will have a chance to make the team, due to the lack of tight end’s on the roster.
Winslow made the Pro Bowl in 2007, but has since suffered from right knee problems. He has 438 career catches for 4,848 yards and 23 touchdowns in eight seasons.
The veteran tight end was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in 2004 and spent four seasons with the club before heading to Tampa Bay from 2009-2011.
The Jets lost Dustin Keller to free agency, who was a big target for Mark Sanchez last season.
