Slava Voynov had a goal and an assist and Jonathan Quick made 19 saves as the Kings defeated the Blackhawks 3-1, in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals.

The Blackhawks lead the series 2-1.

The Kings improve to 8-0 this postseason when playing at home.

Quick, who was pulled from Game 3 after allowing four goals in under thirty minutes, was back on his game making a great late save on Blackhawk’s winger Bryan Bickell.

After the game teammate Rob Scuderi didn’t sound surprised with Quick’s performance.

“I thought we didn’t give him much help in Game 2,” Scuderi said. “You can’t expect your goalie to bail you out every single time when you give them those type of Grade A scoring opportunities. Maybe he would think differently of Game 2…I don’t think he would, but it was nice to see him hold us in the game and make the big save when we needed it.”

With the win, the Kings also snapped the Blackhawks’ five game win streak.

Game 4 is Thursday night in Los Angeles. The puck is set to drop at 9 p.m. Eastern.
