Labrador Drops Out of Immigration Committee
Published at(WASHINGTON, DC) – Idaho Rep. Raul Labrador is walking away from a bipartisan group of Congressmen working to overhaul the nation’s immigration system. Labrador says he won’t sign off on the “Gang of 8” plan proposed by Democrats that would provide taxpayer-funded federal health insurance benefits to illegal immigrants. Labrador says its a privilege, not a right for illegal immigrants to be allowed to stay in the U.S., and that they should pay for their own health insurance
