Man Steals From Gun Shop

(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – An Idaho Falls man was arrested Saturday after stealing nearly $1,500 in merchandise from a local gun shop.  Thirty-eight-year-old Christian Maupin allegedly took several items from Ross’ Coin and Gun, including ammunition and other firearm accessories. Officers determined that Maupin was under the influence of prescription drugs during the incident. Maupin had a concealed carry permit and was armed at the time of his arrest, though he was cited for carrying a concealed weapon while intoxicated. He remains in custody on a $15,000 bond.
