Pocatello Police Caution About Pedestrian Traffic

(POCATELLO, ID) – Pocatello Police are warning drivers and pedestrians to be aware of laws concerning crosswalk safety. Idaho code requires all drivers to yield to all pedestrians crossing within a crosswalk. Pocatello has had several accidents involving pedestrians and vehicles already this year, many of which have occurred near the ISU campus. They also note that all pedestrians attempting to cross a highway must wait for cars to pass before crossing.
