Pocatello Police say Woman Died of Self-inflicted Wound

(POCATELLO, ID)  —  A Police investigation has determined that the Pocatello woman who died from a gunshot wound in February, committed suicide.    Police were called to the home of 28-year old Nettie Adair February 10 where they found her unconscious and bleeding from a head wound outside her house on Jefferson Avenue.   Adair died a short time later at Portneuf Medical Center.    A handgun was discovered close to where police found her body.    An autopsy was performed on her death throughout the course of the investigation.

The investigation was conducted by the Pocatello Police Department, with the assistance of the Bannock County Coroners Office, the Bannock County Prosecutors Office, the Idaho State Police, the Idaho State Forensic Laboratory and Dr. Charles Garrison.
