The 22-year-old rookie put together his first four hit day helping the Los Angeles Dodgers dump the Philadelphia Phillies 6-1 Sunday.

Puig also scored two runs and stole two bases in the win. He finishes June with 44 hits, the second-most all-time behind Joe DiMaggio for most hits by a player in his first full calender month of the season.

Dodgers’ starter Stephen Fife pitched seven shutout innings to win his second straight start.

Puig is now the Dodgers franchise leader for hits in a month by a rookie, passing Steve Sax.

The win puts the Dodgers (38-43) four games behind the Arizona Diamondbacks for NL West lead.
