Rexburg Mayor Assessing Natural Gas Needs

(REXBURG, ID) – Rexburg Mayor Richard Woodland is worried about the future of natural gas in the city.   Woodland says the needs of Intermountain Gas customers are being met, thanks to a new pipeline that was finished last fall. However, with the projected growth rate of the community, he’s concerned that the city won’t have enough natural gas to go around.  Rexburg recently had to turn down an industrial company looking to build in town because of it. Intermountain Gas officials say they’ll do their best to adjust in light of future growth
