Saudi Nationals Detained on Drug Charges

(POCATELLO, ID) – Five Saudi nationals have been linked to an alleged drug ring in Pocatello. Police say four men and one woman were detained Thursday morning following a raid on a rental home near the intersection of Country Club and Foxmore. Officials have not formally charged the suspects, three of which have been confirmed to be Idaho State University students. The suspects were later released, with one alleging that police actions were racially motivated, though he admitted that drugs were in the home. An investigation is ongoing.
