Shark Exhibit to Open at Natural History Museum

(POCATELLO, ID) – Prehistoric sharks are coming alive at the Idaho Museum of Natural History in Pocatello. On Saturday, the museum is opening its new Helicoprion exhibit, the only one of its kind in the world. The Helicoprion is noted for is large spiral lower jaw, and was native to southeast Idaho when it was covered with shallow, warm sea water nearly 250 million years ago. The exhibit will run through the end of the year.
