Speed Limit Lowered in Ucon

(UCON, ID) – If you’re driving through Ucon this week, you’d better slow down. Beginning this week, a section of Highway 43 will be reduced to 35 miles per hour. The change came after a study by the Idaho Transportation Department concluded that the area was prone to far too many speed-related traffic accidents. Idaho State Police say they’ll be closely monitoring the area over the next few days to help motorists get more accustomed to slowing down.
