(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – An Idaho Falls woman has announced her candidacy for the mayoral race this fall. Rebecca Casper has lived in Idaho Falls for 13 years, where she’s run her own business, raised four kids, and worked as an instructor at Eastern Idaho Technical College and BYU-Idaho. Casper says she likes the way the city is run, but would like to see some improvements in the way decisions are made. She says the city needs a backup plan if the North Loop power grid project is thrown out in court.
