Utah Church Cleanses Evil After Shooting

(OGDEN, UT) – A church in Ogden, Utah held a ceremony last week to cleanse their building from evil spirits following a shooting earlier this month. Nearly 200 parishioners at St. James the Just Catholic Church sprinkled holy water and recited scripture outside the building. 35-year-old Ricky Jennings shot 66-year-old James Evans during a Father’s Day Mass at the church. Evans is expected to survive. Jennings has been charged with attempted murder.
