(WASHINGTON) — Jobless claims rose to 354,000 during the second week of June, the Labor Department reported on Thursday.
For the week ending June 15, the number of people filing for benefits jumped by 18,000. The previous week, claims stood at 336,000.
The four-week average also went up, increasing by 2,500 to 348,250.
