‘Whitey’ Bulger Drops F-Bomb in Court Again

Wendy Maeda/The Boston Globe via Getty Images(BOSTON) — For the second time this week accused Boston mobster James “Whitey” Bulger cursed under his breath at a witness testifying against him.
“You’re a f***ing liar,”‘ Bulger, 83, was overheard saying from his seat at the defense table at former FBI supervisor John Morris.
It was the second time Bulger audibly cursed in the courtroom and prompted federal prosecutor Brian Kelly to demand that the judge admonish Bulger from the bench.
“I know he spent his entire life trying to intimidate people in South Boston,” Kelly told the court after the jurors were excused. Bulger’s defense attorneys promised to keep their client quiet for the duration of the trial.
On Monday Bulger declared “I’m no f***ing informant” during testimony from special agent John Marra of the Department of Justice inspector general.
Bulger is on trial for a string of crimes including 19 murders. Testimony during the trial has stated Bulger ran a criminal enterprise with the help of corrupt FBI agents John Connolly and John Morris, and that Bulger was an FBI informant concerning his criminal rivals.
