(BOISE, ID) – New guidelines for Idaho’s supplemental nutrition program for women, infants, and children will go into effect next week. WIC guidelines were offset to accommodate the average cost of living, which has measurably increased since late 2008. The program provides eligible families with subsidies for supplemental healthy foods like fresh fruit, milk, eggs, cereal, and peanut butter. On average, enrolled Idaho families receive about $54 in coupons per month
