Bargnani Traded to Knicks
Published at(NEW YORK) — The New York Knicks finalized a deal with the Toronto Raptors Monday, sending Andrea Bargnani to the Knicks in exchange for Marcus Camby, Steve Novak, Quentin Richardson, a 2016 first-round pick, and a second-round pick in 2014 and 2016, according to league sources.
The deal was finalized when Richardson was added to the transaction in a sign-and-trade, and won’t be official until July 10, when the league’s moratorium on signings and trades is lifted.
The 27-year old Bargnani, who was the No. 1 pick in the 2006 draft, will earn $23 million over the next two seasons.
