Dispatch Center Evacuated

(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – Bonneville County’s emergency dispatch center had to be evacuated earlier this week.  Several employees inhaled dangerous chemical fumes because of renovations going on in the facility. Three dispatchers were taken to EIRMC for treatment, and the call center was closed until the building’s ventilation system was cleared up. Managers say emergency calls were temporarily transferred to Jefferson County dispatcher during the downtime.
