Both of Drew’s homers came off of Orioles starter Scott Feldman, with a three-run blast in the fourth and a two-run shot in the sixth. It was Drew’s second career two-round-tripper game. He also tied a career high with five RBIs.

Red Sox designated hitter David Ortiz was ejected in the seventh by home plate umpire Tim Timmons after smashing a dugout phone with a baseball bat because of Timmons’ strike zone.

Ortiz felt that two pitches that were called strikes were out of the zone. He would end up striking out.
