Electricity Goes Out in Power, Bingham Counties

(BLACKFOOT, ID) – Two separate incidents caused power outages in American Falls and Blackfoot Tuesday night. Nearly 500 customers in rural Bingham County lost power after a driver struck a power pole along 1400 West at around 4:30 p.m. In American Falls, 1,100 Idaho Power customers lost electricity when a falling tree pulled down lines. That outage also affected customers in Aberdeen and Sterling.
