(FORT HALL, ID) – At least four homes were evacuated Tuesday during a fire on the Fort Hall Indian Reservation.  The South Ross Fork Fire started Tuesday afternoon when a lightning storm moved through the area. More than 100 acres had burned as of Tuesday evening. Fire crews from the Bureau of Land Management and Fort Hall responded to the scene. Strong winds made fighting back the flames difficult. Those evacuated are being housed at the Shoshone-Bannock Hotel. No injuries were reported.
