Fire South of Pocatello Under Control

(POCATELLO, ID) – The Lead Draw Fire south of Pocatello is now under control. More than 20 firefighters remained at the scene well into Monday afternoon. The fire started Sunday and may have been human caused. Two other fires in southern Bannock County were caused by lightning and started around the same time. Fire danger remains high through the remainder of the week with dry weather in the upper 80s and wind gusts in excess of 20 miles per hour.
